Scott Page

Scott Page is a Founder, Partner, and a Managing Director of Solomon Page, a Manhattan-based recruitment firm with service offerings ranging from C-suite executive search to temporary staffing across a broad range of functional and industry lines of business. Scott provides leadership and direction for the execution of the company’s vision and objectives, which was named “New York’s Largest Executive Search Firm” in 2020 by Crain’s New York Business.

In addition to leading the company at large, Scott has built and led the Financial Services division since the firm’s inception in 1990; growing the division into one of the most sought after retained executive search practices in the industry. For 30 years, highly respected global financial institutions including investment banks, alternative asset managers, private equity, and private family offices across both developed and emerging markets have turned to Scott for his expertise in building long-term team management strategies. The exclusive search process which he has developed combines thorough organizational mapping, competitive analysis, and deep, first-hand knowledge of the industry. This distinct combination has honed Scott’s well-known ability to grasp the real needs of a business and build teams and cultures across the industry.

Douglas Sharf

Doug has been in the financial services industry since 1986 and in executive recruitment since 1989. He joined Solomon Page's Financial Services Division in 1991 as a Managing Director and works on senior level searches in corporate banking, corporate finance, M&A, principal finance, special situations, trading, sales, research, asset management, capital markets, and corporate and investment banking businesses for major sell- and buy-side clients. Doug is widely respected for his understanding of the talent pool in equity and fixed income including flow and structured credit, rates, derivatives, foreign exchange, capital markets, prime brokerage, and risk management. He conducts searches both locally and internationally.

Prior to his career in executive search, Doug was an investment analyst for an international equity fund manager in New York. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Buffalo.

Edward Fernand

Edward is a Managing Director in the Financial Services Division at Solomon Page and has over twenty years of executive search and client advisory experience, partnering with clients across major sell-side and buy-side firms. Edward specializes in senior level and C-suite executive search across fixed income, equity derivatives, flow, structured and securitized credit products, investment banking, private credit and illiquid debt,  debt and equity capital markets, private equity, distressed credit and special situations investing, legal and emerging markets. Edward also partners with clients for key business initiative hiring projects including team builds, tactical product and strategy hires, strategic introductions and overall platform builds.

Prior to joining Solomon Page in 2009, Edward worked for over three years as a Principal at Rhodes Associates and over 6 years at Alliance Consulting where he successfully helped develop and grow their Global Markets executive search and advisory platforms. Before joining the executive search world, he worked in the Fixed Income Division at Merrill Lynch constructing portfolio solutions for institutional and private banking clients.

Edward received a B.S. dual degree in Finance & Economics with Honors from Fordham University’s College of Business Administration. He also earned his MBA in Finance from Fordham University and holds a Financial Risk Management degree from New York University.

Jacob Navon

Jacob specializes in senior-level searches in all relevant job functions within the Asset Management industry as well as in the Wealth Management and Hedge Fund sectors. Jacob has successfully executed a full spectrum of assignments on behalf of clients ranging from small investment boutiques and hedge funds to large, globally-integrated asset management companies. In addition to single placements, Jacob has a particular expertise in asset management team lift outs. Jacob has more than thirty years of financial services experience as an investment manager and an executive search professional.

Before joining Solomon Page, Jacob was Partner at Westwood Partners, a boutique search firm serving the asset management industry. Prior to entering search, Jacob spent ten years in the asset management industry including positions at Paloma Partners, Columbus Circle, and The Boston Company. He began his career in fixed income sales and trading at Salomon Brothers Inc.

Jacob holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and both a BA and MA in Natural Science from the University of Cambridge, U.K.

David Trevena

David specializes in recruiting mid- and senior-level sales/marketing professionals primarily in Asset Management and Alternative Asset Management, including within Hedge Funds and Private Equity. David has over twenty years of experience in executive search for the financial services industry and has worked in New York, San Francisco, and London.

Prior to joining Solomon Page, he was Principal at Westwood Partners for fifteen years, and before that he spent thirteen years as a search consultant in New York with Cook Associates as Vice President and Head of their financial service group. He also served as Managing Principal of Riotto-Jones, a boutique search firm specializing in asset management. Prior to entering search, David worked in the advertising and consulting fields.

David earned his diploma in Business Administration from Kingston University in the U.K.

Jerri Rettig

Jerri Rettig has over 25 years of experience in Executive Recruitment and joined Solomon Page in 1999. As Managing Director of the Financial Services practice, Jerri has a successful track record executing global senior-level searches across a number of different market segments within Financial Services (sell-side/buy-side/Fintech). She has extensive experience executing global searches across a host of disciplines including but not limited to; Executive Management (CFO, COO, CCO, CRO, CAO and Treasurer), Research, Investment Professionals, Corporate Strategy, Business Development/Sales, Analytics, Risk Management, Legal / Compliance, Regulatory Strategy/Execution, Treasury, and infrastructure. She has also partnered with leading Private Equity firms to place senior leadership with their portfolio companies.  

In addition Jerri has lead numerous search engagements and partnered with these firms in such areas as Product Management/Development, Business Management, Corporate Strategy, and Sales/Business Development, placing integral and influential senior thought leaders, commercial business line management and C-Suite Executives. 

Prior to joining Solomon Page, Jerri spent more than 12 years building and operating an independent Financial Services Division at a global recruitment firm. During that time she was consistently the top producer in the firms’ 110 offices, both domestically and internationally. She holds a B.S. degree with a dual major in Marketing and Management and a minor in Psychology from Montclair University.
