Amy Resnik
Managing Director

Amy joined Solomon Page in 2009 as Managing Director of our Full Time Technology Placement Division. With over 30 years of experience, Amy oversees a diverse team of recruiters for both local and national clients. Amy specializes in placing information technology, investment/financial services, software, and web professionals. Her core competencies include but are not limited to, Applications/System Development and Architecture, Big Data, and Cloud Computing.

Amy has extensive experience managing major accounts, mentoring recruiters, and identifying industry-leading talent for client companies. Her focus is on building long-term business partnerships with her candidates and clients to provide exceptional talent solutions.

Before joining Solomon Page, Amy spent 25 years at Pencom Systems, a high-tech recruiting firm with an emphasis on the financial services industry. Amy helped build Pencom Web Works, an internet development firm sold in 1999. Amy holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Ithaca College.

Lou Messercola
Managing Director

Lou Messercola is a staffing industry specialist with more than twenty years of experience. Currently, he serves as Managing Director for the IT Consulting Practice at Solomon Page.

He began his career as an Account Manager at Spherion, later working his way up to Director of their National Accounts program. Throughout his eight-year tenure at Spherion, Lou generated over $40 million in revenue and was a seven-time Performance Forum winner for meeting or exceeding quota.

Following his experience at Spherion, Lou served as Vice President at Harvey Nash for twelve years, where he was responsible for all service offerings, including contract, contract-to-hire, permanent placement, professional services, and offshoring. From 2004-2009, Lou led operations sales and recruitment for the New Jersey and Connecticut market. Following his successes in those markets, Lou took on responsibility for sales in the Tri-State area. During this time, he generated the highest revenue and gross profit dollars in the US. While at Harvey Nash, Lou was awarded Sales Person of the Year for six years.

Lou is affiliated with Techserve, NJ SIM, and NJTC, serves as an Executive Board Member of the Boys & Girls Club of Northwest NJ, and is the President of the Wayne Valley HS Soccer Booster Club.

Alicia Lawler
Managing Director

Alicia Lawler is currently responsible for developing the greater Nashville, TN area for the Technology Division of Solomon Page. She initially joined Solomon Page in 2000 and then left to build Lawler Associates, a technical staffing firm that was acquired by Solomon Page in 2010.

Alicia has been in the IT consulting space for close to eighteen years. Throughout the past ten years, she has been focused on the pharmaceutical sector and data resources within that space. Other areas of her expertise include DW, BI, Informatics and Project Management in Healthcare, Pharma, and other verticals.

She and her team work diligently to continue to provide qualified talent to their clients. Her expert staff at Solomon Page is qualified to screen technical resources. Alicia is committed to understanding the business of her clients and understanding the entire project and how it affects the business. Her primary focus is building strong, lasting relationships and delivering quality resources in a timely manner.

Giovanni Cappellini
Senior Vice President

Giovanni is a recognized industry leader with 19 years of Information Technology recruiting, sales, and business development experience. Companies and candidates trust Giovanni and his team for a highly unique and personal approach to recruitment. He has built strong relationships with his clients by being intimately involved with their business and goals to understand their staffing needs. He believes taking the time to truly understand the people you do business with will result in better experiences for all parties involved.

Giovanni started his career recruiting hybrid, dynamic technologists, business analyst, and project managers for some of the most prestigious Global Investment Firms, Boutique Investment Firms, and Management Consulting Firms. Presently, Giovanni oversees a niche group of technology recruiters that specialize in recruiting IT professionals in both the sell side and buy side, as well as across a host of disciplines in the sector, including but not limited to, research, reporting, strategy, analytics, risk management, legal/compliance, treasury, and infrastructure.

Prior to joining Solomon Page, Giovanni spent 7 years building a Financial Services Technology Practice at a boutique systems integrator. He holds a B.A. degree in Communications from Fordham University.
