Scott Page is a founding partner, and a Managing Director of Solomon Page, a Manhattan based provider of staffing solutions (temporary, contract, temp to perm, project staffing, direct hire and executive search) and heads the Financial Services division since the firm’s inception in 1990.
Scott has almost thirty years of experience in the executive search industry and is widely respected as a market leader in the recruitment of senior financial services professionals on a global basis across both developed and emerging markets.
Under his strategy, Scott spearheads the Financial Services division of the firm and works closely and extensively with the senior management teams of major buy-side and sell-side global institutions to define business opportunities and to attract talented professionals. Scott provides leadership and talent consulting services to his clients which has empowered those businesses to not only reach, but in many cases surpass their goals. Scott has formed strategic consulting relationships with his clients who are the top level executives at some of the largest and highly respected global financial institutions. Wall Street considers him an industry expert of executive search and financial services consulting and as such has appeared on Bloomberg TV and CNBC.
The skills and philosophy that he brings to his clients’ searches have also helped Scott expand the Financial Services Division of Solomon Page. Over the past 25 years, Scott has grown the Financial Services Division into one of the most sought after retained executive search practices in the industry.
Scott has also nurtured the evolution of the Solomon Page brand and participates in the collaboration and expansion of Solomon Page as it continues to be one of the most successful executive search firms and is listed by Crain’s as one of the New York Area’s 200 Largest Privately Held Companies. The rapid growth of Solomon Page resulted in a public offering in 1994 and privatization through a management buyout in 2000. The firm is headquartered in New York City with eight regional offices in the United States and one office in the United Kingdom.
Doug has been in the financial services industry since 1986 and in executive recruitment since 1989. He joined Solomon Page's Financial Services Division in 1991 as a Managing Director and works on senior level searches in corporate banking, corporate finance, M&A, principal finance, special situations, trading, sales, research, asset management, capital markets, and corporate and investment banking businesses for major sell- and buy-side clients. Doug is widely respected for his understanding of the talent pool in equity and fixed income including flow and structured credit, rates, derivatives, foreign exchange, capital markets, prime brokerage, and risk management. He conducts searches both locally and internationally.
Prior to his career in executive search, Doug was an investment analyst for an international equity fund manager in New York. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Buffalo.
Serving as a Managing Director of the Financial Services division at Solomon Page, Todd Fahey leads the Global & Quantitative Systematic Strategies team. He specializes in the placement of quantitative and systematic trading and analytic professionals on a global basis, across investment banks, hedge funds, asset management firms, proprietary trading companies, and family offices.
Since 1998, Todd has been recognized as a leader in this space and worked in a variety of both retained and contingent environments. Prior to joining Solomon Page, Todd served as the Global Head of Quantitative Strategies at a retained, global financial services firm, which had previously acquired a firm that Todd had founded.
Todd has a diverse, well-rounded professional background. Before his career in executive search, Todd was an entrepreneur in telecommunications industry and worked in sales and management in the retail automotive space. Todd also served as a CH-53E helicopter crew chief in the US Marine Corps, from which he was honorably discharged in 1993. Todd studied Telecommunications Management at DeVry University and is currently based in Chicago.
As Managing Director, Head of Alternative Investments & Commodities, Vickram focuses on senior-level search assignments around the globe for both sell-side and buy-side institutions. Vickram is one of the key senior leaders of Solomon Page's Financial Services practice for the Americas and is actively involved in using his market-intelligence and expertise to implement a research-driven, relationship-focused approach to recruiting and consulting. He places a significant emphasis on both building and managing a robust research team and offerings to Solomon Page’s clients. Additionally, Vickram has been quoted in prominent publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Reuters and Energy Intelligence Finance.
Edward is a Managing Director in the Financial Services Division at Solomon Page and has over twelve years of global banking & capital markets executive search and client advisory experience, working with major sell-side and buy-side firms. Prior to joining Solomon Page in 2009, Ed worked for over three years as a Principal at Rhodes Associates, where he successfully helped build the Global Banking & Markets Executive Search. At Rhodes, he also developed the Global Markets Client Advisory business that provided client and HR managers with competitive intelligence, in-depth market research, and introductions to opportunistic business initiatives. Prior to joining Rhodes Associates, Ed worked at Alliance Consulting for over eight years as a Team Leader and helped build their executive search platform across global markets.
Ed specializes in fixed income, structured credit products, energy, commodities, foreign exchange, investment banking, capital finance and structured solutions, debt and equity capital markets, distressed and special situations, and emerging markets.
Before joining the search world, Ed worked in the Fixed Income Division at Merrill Lynch, constructing portfolio solutions for private banking and institutional clients.
Ed holds a B.S. dual degree in Finance & Economics from Fordham University’s College of Business Administration. He also earned a Financial Risk Management degree from New York University and received his MBA in Finance from Fordham University.
Alexis DuFresne joins Solomon Page as a Managing Director with a dedicated focus on Marketing and Investor Relations talent acquisition for hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and long-only asset management firms. Her work spans across single mandated searches of all levels, to multi-hire organizational consulting and team build outs on behalf of managers seeking to boost their sales and client retention capabilities. Ms. DuFresne's background as a former hedge fund marketer at leading alternatives firms provides her with a thorough and technical understanding of the space, increases her ability to connect with both clients and candidates, and allows her to leverage her deep network of allocators, marketers, and managers.
Prior to Solomon Page, Ms. DuFresne was head of the Marketing and Investor Relations Search Practice at The Atlantic Group, and began her career in hedge fund recruitment at Broadreach Group.
Ms. DuFresne attended New York University with honors and is an active and passionate volunteer at New York Cares, as well as an advocate of epilepsy awareness.
Rachida is a Director in the Financial Services Division at Solomon Page and is Head of the London office.
She has nine years’ experience in financial markets including over six years in executive search and client advisory and has worked on a variety of mandates on both the buy and sell-side. Working primarily on Fixed Income, she has done searches in Real Estate, Credit (flow, securitized products, sales, trading, and origination), Rates and FX markets, as well as Private Wealth and Asset Management.
Prior to joining Solomon Page in 2010, Rachida worked for over two years for a Swiss Asset Manager, Unigestion, as part of their Family Investment Office. She started her career at a management and consulting firm, Eikos International, helping clients from Continental Europe set up companies in the UK with a focus on tax optimization and company structure advisory.
Rachida holds an M.A. in Business and Languages from University of Provence in Aix-en-Provence. She is fluent in French, English, and Arabic.
William is a Director in the Financial Services Division at Solomon Page. He has eight years’ experience in financial markets and executive search, working mainly in the Macro space (sell side: sales and trading in FX, Rates, EM and buy side: Macro HF’s and EM focused HF’s). Prior to joining SPG in 2015, William worked for four years at Maven Search and was Head of the European business. Prior to Maven Search, William worked in Private Equity for CSS from 2008 to 2011 concentrating mainly on IPO, pre-IPO, and VC investments. Before CSS, William worked for wealth management firm Welbeck Group. William studied Economic History at the University of Hertfordshire and UNCW. William is a season ticket holder and avid fan of Arsenal FC.
Scott is a Director in Solomon Page’s Financial Services division. He offers recruiting and consulting services for the fixed income, equities, and investment banking businesses of leading investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers and private banks. Scott joined Solomon Page in March of 2009 and led the firm’s research efforts for two years. Before beginning his executive search career, Scott was an equity trader at Schonefeld Securities, Opus Funds.
Scott Received a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate from New York University.
Brett is a Director in Solomon Page’s Financial Services Division, working across the fixed income, equities, currencies, commodities, investment banking, and capital markets businesses of major sell- and buy-side firms. He joined Solomon Page in January 2008 and has served as Head of Research for the Financial Services Division. Prior to joining Solomon Page, Brett worked at Morgan Stanley in their Equity Sales division, working on institutional clients solutions across equity based structured products.
Brett received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Hofstra University.
